Good Morning My Inky Fingered Friends!
Hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start!  It's sunny and hot here in Ohio and we desperately need some rain, but supposedly it's coming this week.  My grass is thirsty!!

I got this monkey as a free digi and I have hunted and hunted and I can't remember where I got him from.  I'm sure it was in connection with OWH, but I don't recall specifically where I got it. I even searched the Stars & Stamps Blog which is where I get alot of my digis, but couldn't find it.  He is the very first digi image I ever tried and I think he is adorable!  I made a bunch of these with several different sentiments for a box of cards for our soldiers.  I used colored pencils on him and then some Stickles to make the little rose sparkle just a bit.  I love Stickles!  I think I use them on almost every card I make - it's an addiction! LOL  The picture doesn't really capture the true colors (stupid old camera!), but at least you can get an idea of how cute this little guy is!

Beach Beauties

Hello Inky Fingered Friends!

Well I had a few technical difficulties - my good camera died and now I'm back to my old one, which sucks!  But, here is one of my latest creations!  I got the stamp at a convention in Akron, Ohio a couple years ago and had forgotten about it.  I know, that's just wrong!!!  Anyhow, I came across it when I was reorganizing my space (do you do that as much as I do???) and thought it was a perfect stamp to use for the hot summer days!

I used colored pencils on the girls bathing suit butts (love those little butts!)  and couldn't resist adding those tiny hats on each one!!  And what is a beach without sand?  So, sand we have!  I used my white gel pen to highlight some waves in the water and then put some clear Stickles on them to really make them glitter!  Hmmm, I think I need to go enjoy some of the sunshine outside today!  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have some time to do what makes you happy!

Under Construction!

Today is Thursday, July 8 and I'm working feverishly on getting photos of my cards in my computer and hope to be making posts by Saturday.  Friday is my BIRFDAY so I will be having a day of shopping and eating out with my BFF!!!  So, if you've happened by, PLEASE come back on Saturday and see some of my handiwork!  Thanks!
